How is the side margin calculated in UDCPR-2020?

For buildings above 15 m, the side and rear marginal open space is one-fifth of the building height (H/5) under Reg 6.2.3, capped at 12 m; for high-rise buildings above 24 m a 6 m fire-tender minimum also applies. Below 15 m, the Table 6-D value by road width is used.

How is the front margin decided?

The front margin (front marginal open space) is taken from Table 6-D by the abutting road width.

How this is derived (UDCPR-2020)

Reg 6.2.3(b): side/rear H/5 = 4.76 m (more than G+2 / stilt+3 (7 floors)) → 4.76 m; front per Table 6-D by road.
Reg 4.12.1(vii)(c): a building on land ADJOINING A RIVER OR NALLAH must keep a mandatory 15 m from a river or 9 m from a nallah, as a FLOOR over its ordinary margins. It is NOT applied above, because no input says whether a boundary of this plot meets one. If it does, say which — on a small plot that distance is most of the buildable plate, and it is not a figure the tables will give you.
